"We lived two states away and had not been there before. Once we drove just twenty feet onto the property we were looking for a place to park. Our car is quite but heard a lady screaming at our car " hey you back here!" It was an employee tucked away sitting out of sight. Screaming that we need to pay for parking. We didn't know and we didn't see her sitting in a secluded spot. We had no problem paying for parking but that ruined our experoence before we got in the building. Won't go back."

"This place was absolutely amazing! The activities that interested our kids (ages 8 months to 11 years) were endless. They had pretend play, tunnels, bubble rooms, stem and steam play, art rooms, cultural rooms and more! Everything was very well maintained and curated. They even had info on the walls to help parents/guardians know how to use these play set-ups as teaching moments. We were there for 2 hours before getting lunch in their super-kid-friendly cafe, and we stayed a few more hours after. We really could have stayed all day. Parking was free. Even with a full parking lot, it wasn’t too crowded inside. Highly, highly recommend!"

"Very good collection of art from all over the world on display representing all time periods. Located in beautiful Forest Park, it is free to enter, and we easily spent a couple hours inside enjoying the museum. There is underground parking for $15 but we were able to find metered street parking not too far away inside the park on a weekday afternoon. It was not very busy inside the museum on the Wednesday afternoon that we visited."

"Ella was a wonderful tour guide and gave us a great run-down of the history of the home and the historic objects. The home is really a sight to see."

Preadolescence can bring its own challenges and anxieties. Preadolescent children have a different view of the world from younger children in many significant ways. Typically, theirs is a more realistic view of life than the intense, fantasy-oriented world of earliest childhood.

CHILD Definition & Meaning - Merriam-Webster
Some people worry that kid, when used of a child rather than a juvenile goat, is either slang or too colloquial to merit acceptance in standard English. The fact is that we have been using kid to refer to a child that is human, rather than goatish, for more than three hundred years now.
