A trade involving India and Singer was not close on Saturday, and is just one of several possibilities under consideration for both clubs.

News broke on Saturday that the Royals and Reds are talking about a deal for Jonathan India. That would accomplish a bucket-list item for the Royals, who advanced to the ALDS this season.
