OKC Thunder forward Jalen Williams will be reevaluated in approximately 12 weeks after undergoing wrist surgery Tuesday, the team announced.

Jalen Williams, the All-Star guard/forward who helped the Oklahoma City Thunder win their first NBA title, had surgery Tuesday to repair a torn ligament in his right wrist. Thunder general manager Sam Presti said he expects Williams to be ready for the start of the regular season.

A day after Sam Presti said Jalen Williams would undergo wrist surgery, the 24-year-old went under the knife. The Oklahoma City Thunder announced that he officially underwent a successful procedure to address a torn scapholunate ligament in his right wrist.
