Seeing a meteor shower can be an unforgettable experience, and in the fall, the Northern Taurids grace the night sky. Here's all you need to know about them.

While the Southern Taurids already hit their peak last week, the Northern Taurids, active Oct. 13-Dec. 2 will be at their best Monday and Tuesday.

Fireball activity is expected to peak Monday and Tuesday night as Earth passes through a stream of comet debris.

The North and South Taurids occur every year in September, October, and November. They may have originated from a comet that broke up about 10,000 years ago.
