Despite No. 13 Miami's victory at Virginia Tech, SMU's 32-point blowout of Louisville and Duke's win at North Carolina ended the Hurricanes' shot at a conference championship. That leaves just three teams vying for two spots in the Dec. 6 ACC Championship in Charlotte: No. 19 Virginia, Pittsburgh and SMU.

The top teams all took care of business in Week 13, so we turn our attention to the bubble. Could Utah's shaky performance against Kansas State cost them on the bubble?

The penultimate week of the college football season, while largely lackluster, still provided some chaos and fireworks.

Georgia Tech dropped in the rankings after a loss which opens a clear path back to the ACC Championship for the Mustangs.

There is plenty of drama in the SEC to come after the league largely abdicated its duties to have some compelling games during Week 13 (SoCon Saturday remains the best nickname for the annual FCS opponents that filter through the conference). All told, six of the SEC’s 10 games will carry some sort of playoff implications.

The Oregon Ducks are 10-1 following their win over USC Saturday, with their only loss on the year coming to number two ranked Indiana. Their spot in the College Football Playoff should be all but locked up at this point,

K-State rushed for a program-record 472 yards, while Joe Jackson broke Darren Sproles' single-game record with 293 yards, but it wasn't enough. Utah quarterback Devon Dampier ran in the game-winning touchdown with 56 seconds left.

Up next is the regular-season finale against Ohio State, a game not only for bragging rights but could help determine Michigan’s postseason fate. A win over the No. 1-ranked Buckeyes, 11-0 and tied atop the Big Ten standings, and the Wolverines have a real claim to make the 12-team playoff field.
