India, June 27 -- Yesterday, it was announced that temperatures in France would finally drop. But this morning, Meteo France extended its red alerts for multiple parts of the country, including Paris.
France banned public alcohol consumption in some areas, closed hundreds of schools and canceled events as an extreme heat wave sent temperatures soaring across Europe.
