Tyreek Smith, a 6-foot-6 senior guard who began his college career at Texas Tech and also played for Oklahoma State, has decided to enroll at K-State as a midseason transfer.

Kansas State basketball has picked up a much-traveled forward from Memphis for next year, according to reports.

Former Memphis basketball forward Tyreek Smith will transfer to Kansas State. According to an On3 report Monday afternoon, Smith verbally committed to the Wildcats. The move comes just more than two weeks after Smith informed Tigers coach Penny Hardaway he was entering the transfer portal.
