The Alameda County District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday it had filed murder charges against a 21-year-old man accused of gunning down a woman while she was walking her dogs in San Leandro.

The woman was shot in the area of East 14th Avenue and Williams Street. The two dogs she was walking were taken to a shelter. A 21-year-old suspect was arrested in Dublin not long after the shooting.
