Joel Deering’s (Calum Lill) true killer has finally been revealed in Coronation Street, and it wasn’t Max Turner ( Paddy Bever ). Max handed himself in earlier this week and claimed that he had killed Joel in self-defence, but tonight’s emotional episode proved that he had been lying to protect the real killer.

Viewers will see Kit Green's interviews intercut with more flashback scenes from the night of Joel's death until the killer is finally unmasked.
