The Las Vegas Raiders and their fans are in need of any hope they can get, even in the fantasy football realm.
The Denver Broncos have finally won a game where they didn't fall behind. Bo Nix passed for 212 yards and rushed for a touchdown, and the Broncos beat the Las Vegas Raiders 24-17 on Sunday.
ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL FOR BRONCOS -7.5 AND UNDER 40.5 BETTORS 🤮 The clock was going to run out but the Broncos commit a delay of game penalty and the Raiders kick a field goal and lose 24-17. Raiders +7.5 and the over 40.5 both cash. pic.twitter.com/3xzhnamGhw
Broncos safety Brandon Jones, however, drew a delay-of-game penalty for not allowing wide receiver Tyler Lockett to get up after a 26-yard gain. That penalty stopped the clock, and officials made the decision to go with 5 seconds remaining.
Denver Broncos second-year quarterback Bo Nix pulled off an impressive no-look pass during a 24-17 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
The Broncos' win over the Raiders was their 16th victory in their last 20 games, stretching back to Week 11 of last season (16-4). That .800 winning percentage is the best in the NFL over that span and is tied for the most wins in the NFL.
With a gameplan that Sean Payton called a full “antithesis” of the first time the Broncos met the Raiders in November, Denver downed Las Vegas 24-17 in a ho-hum affair in the desert Sunday. Here’s The Denver Post’s stock report.
