With the new contracts, GE Appliances said it is increasing domestic spending on suppliers by 3.3%.
GE Appliances is directing millions of dollars to Ohio manufacturers as it works to reshore production and avoid potential tariffs.
The new contracts range between $330,000 and $41 million, and will go to suppliers providing plastics, castings and aluminum for GE Appliance's washers and dryers.
The appliance company plans to split up investments across suppliers and focus on steel, resins, parts and components in order to develop products.
