Google is working on a new app called EyeDropper that's basically a system-wide color picker tool, and it's coming in Android 17 next year.
To add the widget to your app, create a 360x200 placeholder widget in your ui and add the colorpicker to it. When initializing the Color Picker you have the option to pass an initial color to it.
