Dune: Prophecy premieres on HBO and Max on November 16, 2024. The series will continue airing a new episode weekly, every Sunday, at 9 p.m. ET.

A Dune spin-off has been in the works at HBO since 2019, two years before the release of Dune in 2021. On November 22, 2022, former director Johan Renck announced that production had begun.
