A coastal flood advisory was issued by the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC on Friday at 12:52 p.m. Up to two feet of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways for Northern Outer Banks until 11 a.m. Saturday.
Update: The current coastal flood advisory will expire at 4 p.m.

On Thursday at 5:33 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a coastal flood advisory valid for Friday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. for Delaware and Philadelphia counties. The weather service states, "Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways."
