The House Ethics Committee is expected to meet Wednesday to discuss whether its ethics report on former Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., who is President-elect Donald Trump's pick for attorney general, should be made public.

It remains unclear if the committee will release its report as it typically refrains from publishing its findings of lawmakers after they have left office.
