Prepare for body switching and a whole lot of hijinks. Freakier Friday is bringing nostalgia, body-swapping and rock music to Disney Plus, but not on the day of the week you might think.

Based on previous Marvel releases on the streaming service, it will be available from 8am British time on November 5. For those in US it will be on the platform at 3am ET/ 12am PT.

It's not the first time Disney has dabbled with a darker take on The Muppets, though. There was the one-season workplace comedy sitcom back in 2016 that centered on Kermit and Piggy breaking up that attempted a more adult feel for the franchise.

Taylor Swift is coming out with a six-episode docuseries to reveal what happened behind the scenes after she completed the highest-grossing tour of all time last year. “The End of an Era” will drop on Disney Plus starting Dec. 12, with two episodes launching each week.
