U.S. figure skating phenom, Ilia Malinin took an easy first place after the short program in Saskatoon. Canadians Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier are in the top spot after the rhythm dance.
Sarah Everhardt rounded out the American contingent, and completed an intricate short program to 'Riverdance,' earning 63.47.
