The Nuestra Señora de Atocha was a Spanish galleon built in Havana in 1620 that sank off the coast of Florida just two years later while carrying treasure and goods bound for Spain. Discovered in the 1980s, the Atocha’s “highly-sought-after” silver remains one of the most legendary finds in maritime history.
